my kick start goes to the ground wont start the bike

I had to install a new gear in my transmission so I had to split the engine so I put everything back together and tried kick starting the bike the clutch lever had no response and the kick start went straight down and didnt come back up i think something is wrong please help guys any input is greatly appreciated thanks

take the clutch cover back off you probably didn't get the spring in right.

Sounds like the gear on the back of the basket is broken

I fixed the kickstart guys but my clutch lever isnt engaging it doest have any pressure and doest move the clutch basket what could it b

I bet the ball fell out of the tranny shaft. You're missing the clutch rod ball.
