Hi,

Has anyone used the American Star A-Arm rebuild kit? Or can you recommend another rebuild kit? My husband and I have been working on my bike for the last two weekends and today was my first ride on my new (to me) banshee and it's broken already. Any help you can give is appreciated!

Thanks,

Sherry

Ar you looking for just the bushings? If so ive used there Black delrin bushings and i like them way better then any brass bushings. Been using the same set for 3 years now and there still like new and tight with no wear.

Or are you looking for the sleeves for the a-arm bolts also?

I think my husband wanted to buy a whole kit and replace it all. He said it was just the bushings though. I was thinking we could save the spare (old ) parts if we did do a whole rebuild. Three years thats nice. Do the front suspension parts go out often? I'm trying to think ahead and have a tote full of parts we may need to take with us for weekends.

Yeah they come with just the bushings. Thats all you really need though. Just keep them lubed up with wheel bearing grease and they will last for a very long time.

I will see years more on this set and for the price you cant go wrong.

Only reason you would have to replace the sleeves is if they are so badly rusted out. Keep them lubed and they will last a long time also. :)
