jlewhc23 Posted May 23, 2010 Report Posted May 23, 2010 Hi guys hope you can help everyone say the best banshee peeps play here.i just put together a new rebuild and my head bolts are leaking a little bit of water.i am useing trinity stage iv head .bought it used. do the trinity heads use brass washers ?that is all i can think of .all nuts torqued to spec and in order, help please Quote
AKheathen Posted May 23, 2010 Report Posted May 23, 2010 idk if the trinity uses washers to seal, or o-rings in the halfs, but put some sealant on the threads, and make sure the studs aren't chewed up from using a wrench or pliers to intstall them. after a coupele heat cycles, you need to retorque the head Quote
overrevtricky Posted May 23, 2010 Report Posted May 23, 2010 I had the same problem with my modquad head. I threw some copper washers, acorn nuts (they didnt come with acorns) and some Permatex non-drying thread sealant, works like a charm! Quote
