bigblockbanshee Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 I'd just like to give mad props to Yamaha of Troy for coming through and keeping there word on my ITP T-9 Baja wheel that they shipped wrong to me in August of '07. I called them and pleaded my case as they sent me one wheel that was for 4/144 (Honda) and the other front wheel was correct. I sent proof of purchase by Paypal with the old wheel and tire so they'd see what happened. They dismounted my tire and remounted it on a correct 4/156 wheel and I received it yesterday. As you can see in my signature I was finally able to get the rolling chassis almost finished and my crank is being sent out to FAST for true/weld so I can start building here in a few weeks. I talked to a guy named Robert up there and he took care of me on the wheel. I doubt he gets on here or even knows about Banshee HQ but for anyone that doesn't know him I can assure you he is a stand-up guy. Just goes to show you that great customer service does still exist in some businesses. Also from now on I will be closely checking every part I order from now on and others should as well to avoid a mess up like this one. Chris Quote
Larry's Shee Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 Glad to see you got the issue resolved. I must apoligize for busting your chops in your origonal post. When I realized that you were talking about 12mm difference in bolt pattern, I realized how easy it would be to overlook the difference. Quote
bigblockbanshee Posted May 23, 2010 Author Report Posted May 23, 2010 No big deal man. I've learned my quick lesson in checking parts after I receive them. I'm just glad they came through for me so I could continue my build. Quote
