feelsoright03 Posted May 19, 2010 Report Posted May 19, 2010 Dont waste your time joe. I had the purple blaster out there in the fall and only a trx 450 was able to keep up. Its a sand and pea gravel mix. Will tear paddles up probly. I had some holeshots on it to play around with. They are also doing decible tests. They did one on my blaster and hit 106 but still let me in with a warning. My system in my truck hit 112db and they told me to keep it down haha. This place is 20min. from my house and is mostly a jeep and truck trail area. The guys that are running it are a bunch of guys that used to go up and ride the dunes and come to the track once in a while. ~Teddy~ Quote

A buddy of mine was up there riding(he has never been to the dunes mind you) and he said it looked more like a rock gravel drag strip to him. I am hoping they can get it to where we can run paddles so we can meet up for grudge racing when you only have a day type thing. Quote

A buddy of mine said its a short shut down with a rock wall at the end. Facebook also said its 350ft. with 125ft. shut down. WMSD is 300ft with around 670ft shut down and ionia is 300ft with around 720ft or so shut down. So this track would be comparible to shutting down before wmsd 1st turn around. ~Teddy~ Quote

I told him bullshit lol I mean I went there 3 times this year and now they are telling me that my pipes might not pass. I am running the Pro Circuit Platinums, they have the sparkys built in also, new packing too. Oh well there are other places to ride. Quote
joee20002 Posted June 1, 2010 Author Report Posted June 1, 2010 well we went to the bundy hill track on sunday... ............................. lets just say its not for drag bikes..... its set up more for the guys out there that are on trail bikes to just play around... its very short and whooped out bad with rocks the size of a softball...as for db testing,there is none if you are going to stay on the track and dont need a flag....i wont be back its just not for me but looks kool for the trail guys for sure.... So this track would be comparible to shutting down before wmsd 1st turn around. ~Teddy~ trust me,,,the track sucks balls,,,its loose as fuck,,,bumpy as fuck,,,doesnt even look 300 feet and he said 750? wtf man? and the shut down is so small someone is gonna end up hurt,,,my shee is only pushing 50 hp and i was almost having to shut her down before the cones so i didnt hit the wall. its actually like a 15 foot hill at the end and u get a bad ass shee out there and u wont evn be able to run it because the shut down area is too small...hell nobody would even race me except one guy on a 350x,,,450's would just ride past till i left then drag and leave when i came back,,,wtf is up wth that? oh and obviously the 350x trike got wasted even with me spinning the whole way,,,its so loose i was launching in 3rd gear..... I would get maybe 150ft and have to get out of it or i was getting thrown over the bars. The need more shut down and it needs to be graded. Rocks out there the size of grapefruit. Great for any one with a bolt on bike and front brakes.I don't think they would have bike with big hp coming out there to race.If they would put some money into it and get serious about it would be nice.
