What Gearing

Hey guys I have a 421 cub on avgas and i am running stock gearing it seems like i am pulling through the gear way to fast. Just wondring what a good combination is for flat line pavement drag racing.

how far are you racing, how many speed trans do you have? an what size rear tires

1/8th mile, stock 6 speed and 20 in rears

You should be able to pull a 16/40 with no problem.
