tonyown
Made a quick search as usual I didn't find anything lol here's question can you cut and extend the stock swing arm +4... will it be safe... what about shock mount? I know a lot of great profesional welder... going to school soon so trying to save some money I know it'd be better to buy a real +4... If anyone have a link to a thread or answer it'd be apreciated! ban99
I've done it several times. Not hard, just use some 1/4"x4" flat plate to extend it then gusset the top and bottom. Make sure you cut behind the shock mount. Sorry i don't have any pics of one. hope this helps.

ban99
you dont change the shock mount location for +4? Was it solid? ty for answer It was plenty strong. You will depending on your weight need to adjust the compression on your shock.
