BIGONTS Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 (edited) I'm putting my carbs back together after a good cleaning. Got a question regarding the slide/plunger part that the needle crews into and goes up/down. There is another whole next to the one that the needle passes through and is retained by the c-clip and a bracket that bolts down by to philips screws. That bracket has a notch in it and can go either over the hole next to the one the needle goes through, or cover it. Anyone know exactly how that bracket bolts down? Covering the whole, or leaving it open with the notch? Kind of makes sense leaving it open so when the slide goes down quickly, letting any trapped air to go up?? Thanks.
