Jereme6655 Posted May 4, 2010 Report Posted May 4, 2010 wats up guys, thanks in advance for any help............my banshee always starts on first or second kick, for as long as i remember, went riding 3 days ago got back and forgot to close the gas valve, left it on open. changed my plugs and still no luck....any suggestions? did the carbs overflow onto the ground through the overflow drains? try taking your pipes off and see if there is any fuel in the pipes....if there is you may have some in your cases....so you'd have to drain the cases then put your pipes back on and try starting. BUT first....make sure your getting spark. haha.....nothin like trackin down a problem that appeard to be caused by something else. Quote
98_shee Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 No need to pull the pipes to see if they have fuel in them or drain the cases, if your pipes or cases are full of fuel you have a more serious problem. Start by checking the basics, fuel, spark. Quote
Idontknowwhy Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 Check for spark, Get a clymers if you don't have one. Electrical FAQ: http://www.dfn.com/benkaren/elecfaq.html Quote
