SHEEfan Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 I am curious if anyone has some suggestions for me.... i went riding two weekends ago and my banshee was running great all weekend, it is an 03 4mill all around dunner with twister 72mm cylinders on straight race gas( any other questions just ask). as i was riding back to camp on the last ride of the weekend i noticed that it was taking a little while too idle down, i would get on the gas and then let of and pull in the clutch and it would kinda wing ding ding ding a couple times before it would idle all the way down, i put it away and didnt have time to check anything out at the time, i started it when i got home and it fired right up and then i started to hear a little bit of a raspy noise out of my right exhaust as a reved it a little and then i was getting little to no exhaust out of my right side. just wondering if anyone had any suggestions or had any ideas of what might be wrong ??? thanks a lot,, and also the compression was tits on before the weekend Quote
overrevtricky Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 Air leak in the rubber boots? Head gasket gone haywire? Maybe fuel system a little clogged dryin up carb bowls? Sounds lean to me. The first part of your post sounds like a little detonation. Not an expert but thats my .2 cents! Quote
