rappy660 Posted April 10, 2010 Report Posted April 10, 2010 ported cylinders, t-5s, 20cc domes, +4 timing, vforce 3, and k&n pods. stock carbs with 330 mains, toomey needles on the 3rd out of 6 from the top and 27.5 pilots. It has some hesitation between 1/4 and 1/2 throttle, and once it hits powerband it flys. what do you guys suggest. And the hesitation in mid wasnt there with stock pilots Quote

At your elevation with the Toomey needles, you may not need any more pilot than that. It also seems loke your main jet is pretty big, you might verify that you are not rich and do a plug chop to check it. Quote
AKheathen Posted April 11, 2010 Report Posted April 11, 2010 main sounds fine. bring the needle up one clip (4th from the blunt end) and try it. if you still have stock needles, that may, or may not help ballance 1/4-12 and 1/2-3/4 Quote
