doug Posted April 5, 2010 Report Posted April 5, 2010 Hi Guys, The piece of pipe (not the pipe attached to the motor) leading up to the actual silencer (FMF PowerCore II Silencer) has cracked and I'm wondering what kind of material this is? Chromed steel? Aluminum? Thanks. Quote

kodie Posted April 8, 2010 Report Posted April 8, 2010 How big of a crack is it? I had a set of fmf's that had 1/4 inch to 1/3 inch hole in the head pipe by the frame mount. Damn thing kept leaking small amounts of oil out. Took it to school and hit it with the tig welder and was good as new. Quote
