wont start cold

i have a 2004 banshee with t6, foam filter, no air box lid. stock porting.

has stock pilot and 270 main. i know the main needs to go up

bout 1000 elevation....70's outside.

 

my buddies bike will not start cold. I can pull start it then once its warmed up it will kick over for me. but once it sits for a half hour i have to pull start it again..

Have you checked your compression? I had the same problem and I rebuilt my top end and she was good as new.

We had some cold weather recently where I live and my Shee was a bitch to start. Today's a beautiful warm day and I went out and it fired up second kick. I'd be willing to bet it's just your jetting.
