tundish2800 Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 what gearing are you running now?? Quote
dajogejr Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 Start out with 15/44 and launch in second. You want to be at WOT and the end of 5th gear through the traps. You don't need 1st or 6th on a banshee in 300 feet. If you're hitting 6th gear...you're losing time. 9 paddles shouldn't be too much for your bike... You very well might be running out of fuel at the end. What is your fuel system/setup? Stock fuel valve? Quote
mikeymuy Posted March 30, 2010 Author Report Posted March 30, 2010 OK iam running stock gearing and stock fuel pingel. Quote
mikeymuy Posted March 30, 2010 Author Report Posted March 30, 2010 Also since iam running stock gearing if i was to go to 15f 44r would my chain still work wit that set-up? Quote
J-Madd Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 The chain would most likely not work. You'll need to add a half link. 14/41 and 15/44 is the same ratio. You probably won't notice that much difference with your set up. The bigger back sprocket puts more "leverage" on the axle, providing more torque, I think. Quote
