I rebuilt it and now am ready to fire it up. it is bored .80 over , has dg pipes , boysen radd valves & reed spacers, k&n filter with adapter. the mains are 290 , 25 pilots the lid is on with snorkel and 2x4 hole cut in lid Im at 603ft in Illinois and would like to run with the lid off so my question is where should I start . SAVAGE420 Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 I would say you could go up too a 300-310 main and should have a 27.5 pilot probably. You could also do a plug chop and see where your at on your mains for piece of mind if your not confident going by feel. http://www.dfn.com/benkaren/plugchop.html Outside temp plays a big roll in jetting also.
