Fast-Fibers Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 How dunable are the marvin shaw comp series shocks? Also what would a set of used works triple rates be worth? Thanks for any info. I would not suggest running comps on the dunes. I set my comps for drag racing at 1/2" of travel. Quote
flyhighprerunner Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 I would assume riding shaws in the dunes is like riding a pogo stick! If your going to dune it go with the works or hold out for your application elkas. The shaws are just light weight but aren't meant to be "dune" ridden.....but thats just with my experience Quote
broncbob Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 I have a friend that dunes Shaws, BUT the gas pressure has been lowered a long way. I have road it, and they handle about as well as the low line Works he has on it before. Quote
shanYE west Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Shaw comps are duneable... But.. They need to be setup for it.. They need lighter weight oil and pressure adjusted. But.. Like Austin said.. I would suggest a coil over type shock. Quote
