esterelbanshee Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 My Banshees motor is stock. I have BR8ES plugs and was curious if anyone has an opinion on ideal plug gap. I used to mess with the gap on my Jetski a bit to get more power at the top end. Is everyone using the gap out of the box? Quote
SAVAGE420 Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 I go with .030 with a BR8ES running 100LL. Quote
bansheesandrider Posted March 11, 2010 Report Posted March 11, 2010 I run .028 because that is what my owners manual says the minimum gap should be. I go with the minimum because plug gap will only grow with time, unless you have a failure that hits the electrode and closes it up. Quote

But I change my plugs about every year or less depending on how I ride. Quote
