can i run my shee with one 34mm carb or do i need big 2 into 1 carb

take ur 34mm and put it in the corner until u buy another one and run 2!!!lol people have used the 34mms on 2 in 1 intakes, not sure of jetting specs to get going as ive never used one.if u want alot more power stay with the 2 carb set up.shit even factory is 2 26mm carbs and ur switching to 1 34mm carb .i hear 2 in 1 gives good bottom and is easier to tune but if u buy a vaccuum guage from jeff at f.a.s.t ull have no prob syncing the 2 carb oem setup.to answer ur question tho-yeah u can run the 34mm.

You can run it with the 34, but you are not going to have a whole lot of top end. I used to ride with a guy that had a 250R 3 wheeler before he bought a Banshee, and he had a 39mm carb on his 250R. It was a screaming trike. With the 34 you will have good bottom end and it will probably be easy to tune and if you are going to do it, you better have a low end pipe setup.

If your fairly stock, with just some simple bolt-on's you should be fine. Most run a 35PWK. I'm running a 36PWK on a 370 longrod motor with the GRAYDON style 2 into 1. (I don't like the Trinity model) We've got a 75 HP bike in our group that's got no problems running a 35PWK on a GRAYDON. He's running a 50 pilot and a 178 main. He's racing my other buddies un-ported 421 cub that has 2-35PWK'S and he's only about 2-3 bikes back. That's saying something for a guy with next to nothing in his motor. The 2 into 1's get a bad rap, but most guys who bash then have never run them. I pulled a set of Mikuni 28's off that 370 long rod motor and switched to the 36PWK on a GRAYDON intake. I'd feel fine running a good 2 into 1 on everything up to an un-ported 421 cub. Beyond that you need the airflow of the dual carb, only because with a carb big enough for wide open throttle, you will get crappy bottom end.
