This is an amazing engine and runs absolutely flawless. Nothing was missed. Firehead did an amazing job with this engine and it runs very hard. I hate to try and sell it, but I've got some bills I need to try and take care of, and I'm still trying to find a sidexside for my dad. I haven't had much interest in the entire bike so I figured I would try and sell just the engine.

 

I am keeping the carbs, lockup & cover, and stator cover.

 

$5500 shipped.

 

The cylinders alone go for $3k and the crank is another $1.5k. You can't build this engine for the price I'm selling it for.

 

Here's a few clips I had handy of it running. The first is a race at Walden, CO against a 770 who was spraying. The second is just a solo run up a hill at KP. The third is a race againt a FAST 4mil drag bike and a stock YFZ450.

I'm not going to do anything with the roller right now. It will probably end up with one of my 4mil dune engines in it.

I should clarify that I was talking about parting out the engine. I plan on keeping the rolling chassis at this point in time. But if I do decide to part the chassis I'll let you know.

 

You got anything you'd be interesting in trading for this Twister engine kiel?

Not that I can think of. All I have for toys is my RMK , grizzly, banshee, and RZR-s, all of which I dont want rid of. Well the banshee id sell but thats it.
