Antwon Posted February 17, 2010 Report Posted February 17, 2010 I have very old Toomeys on my 1989 banshee that I am cleaning up and repacking the silencers. I was trying to get some input on what I should use to reseal the stinger tubes to the silencers. Should I use high temp sealer or buy a sheet of gasket material and cut out a custom gaskets. I called Toomey and they said newer pipes have a groove for a gasket but on mine they are flat on the back of the silencers. Does anyone have some suggestions for me? Quote
sinisterboo Posted February 17, 2010 Report Posted February 17, 2010 I use "Ultra Grey" to seal up all my exhaust on my 250r and banshee, with awsome results!! I believe its permatex brand. But basically any good high-temp stuff will work, just let it cure fully before running the thing.... Quote
