jmoore Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 I have been wanting to do this for a while now. I was looking through my clymers last night and it appears that the clutch needs to come out? I haven't even had the clutch cover off on my banshee yet since iv'e had it (bought it new) so I don't want to dive into all that if that's the case. Can someone please give me a quick process on that mod.? Quote
TwistedSheeRida Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Your gonna have to remove the cover and the internals in there like the clutch kickstarter and a few gears. You dont have to take the clutch apart just remove the 6 clutch springs and then the center nut, slide off the whole clutch assembly. Its really quite simple. If you dont have a hand impact driver than you should go get one cuz your prob gonna need it. Quote
jmoore Posted February 4, 2010 Author Report Posted February 4, 2010 Ok thanks for the quick reply. That's the info I was looking for. Quote
bbcmudtruck Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 If your going to pull it apart, you should mod your shift shaft as well. Quote
