Zapero Posted January 27, 2010 Report Posted January 27, 2010 Hey guys, Im new to Banshee HQ, but I love banshees so I figured it could not be to bad of a place right? ha. Anyway I got a set of the HS Fiberglass Front fenders one piece and I am trying to put my grill in, but it seems the stock screws dont fit... As I tighten down the screws the fenders make cracking noise so I stop. Do I need to drill out the holes bigger then what it comes with? HA I painted up the fenders so I dont want to ruin them. The Grill clears all the sides and what not, it is a metal louvered grill but it has plenty of clearance as the louvers do not hit anything. It just seems the screws are my problem. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. Quote
Fast-Fibers Posted January 27, 2010 Report Posted January 27, 2010 I make fiberglass fenders myself and if you hear it cracking you've gone too far. Post a picture of the mounting points and maybe I can give you a hint on how to fix it. Thanks, Brad Fast-Fibers Quote

BigRed350x Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 When I changed my grill out on my fiberglass the new screws wouldn't go in at all. I just mixed up a little epoxy and put in where the old screws used to go, then drilled and tapped it for the new screws. Haven't had any problems with it. - Jared Quote
