BIGONTS Posted January 21, 2010 Report Posted January 21, 2010 Looking to redo my T5's. The chrome is pitted and does not look well. They do not have any dents or other damage so I would like to salvage them. Happy with the performance also. And I want flat black-colored pipes. How can I get this off? Is taking is somwhere to get it sand blasted or media blasted my only option? Thanks Quote

If your just painting them, you can just scuff them with the 3M pad till they don't shine any more and paint. I would use a angle die grinder with a course 3M pad. Quote
