theoriginal87 Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 ok so the other day me and a friend went down to the desert to do some riding. i took my banshee this time since i finished it and all i gotta say is that thing is wicked.... lifting the front up n sixth gear was a rush but besides that my friend and i have been riding for years together and unfortunately he still is riding his honda rancher and by no means can he keep up... so i let him go for a spin on the shee and now he is thinking of picking up a quad like mine. but basically the deal is he doesn't have much money and the bike would be more of a project. he doesn't really want to pick up a shee n copy me, so i was thinking of possibly a 250r??? but basically im looking for something that can keep up with my shee that is fairly cheap to pick up and work on.. so if anybody has any suggestions on what he should pick up it would be greatly appreciated Quote
bbcmudtruck Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 If your really his friend you would get him a banshee! For a couple of reasons, he rode yours and likes the feel of the two stroke. Banshee's are increasingly cheap and available. You can help him work on his, etc etc... If he does get one, he doesn't have to outfit it to look just like yours. Quote

I agree with bbc. if your buddy is on a budget and you seem to know your way around the bike, why not help him save some cash by showing him how to fix it? plus he already knows what to expect cause he rode yours.
