250r worth

What would you guys pay for an 86 250r with 290 big bore with all new internals? Aftermarket a-arms, swingarm. etc. Plastics are in decent shape! What are these things worth?? Do they hold there value for resell? Are they still in demand?

 

I know it depends on location but let me know what you guys would sell.

is it a honda or suzuki? the hondas up here in ny still go for 2500-4000 the suzukis are around 1500 -2500 my brother sold his honda ia a million pieces for 1300 i sold my suzuki runnin but needed all plastic and tires for 600 just to get rid of it, suzuki sucks!

Post up a pic! It would be easier to tell you, depends on what mods it has done other than the engine, and how it looks.

 

I saw a running stock R in fair shape go for 1500 here, and Ive seen built Rs go for 5000.

 

Without seeing the bike, I'm going to take a shot in the dark at 2200-2800. But if the thing looks clean and mean, it could go for more

 

EDIT: I'm assuming its a Honda, the Zooks arent worth hardly anything anymore.

i can get basically the same quad for around $800 there worth about $1500 here in MI.

ok thanks guys. I was thinking about getting this bike as a project. I just don't wanna get burned cause i dont know much about the R's

 

and yes its a Honda.
