mikeyce Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 So the other day we were out riding and my friends banshee just quit on him cold turkey. Pulled it back to the shop and started checking on it. motors getting fuel without a problem and has compression (bike ran perfect before) but pulling the plug and checking for spark and nada. I went by and swapped everything from my shee to his one by one and mine starts up and runs fine with all his electrical components....but his still nothing. Pulled the cover to make sure the pickup didn't come loose or anything and everything seems good. Has a timing plate at 4 degrees and everythings tight. Gap between pick up and flywheel are perfect. All the connections are tight and clean. check the kill switch and it works perfect. Cant really think of anything else being wrong with it besides the stator it self.....Any comments or suggestions will help...... Going to switch the stator over here hopefully by Friday if i can find my damn puller..... Quote
AKheathen Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 did you ohm out the stator yet? 16.7-21 ohms from red to green Quote
