Would you buy this banshee?

I've been tracking down banshee's all week and came across this one. It has a lot of what I want but i can't tell from the pics if its nice cause it looks dirty. He's asking $2000 and is 3 hrs from me.

 

It has new top end with 3 rides on it. Pistons are wiseco. Has +2 rear axle and +2 front arms. Has brand new rear holeshot tires rear. Has FMF fatty pipes, toomey silencers, new chain, new sproket, new rear bearings. He also is including another set of +2 a-arms he bought for it since one on it is welded. Has title and is 2nd owner. He said it runs better than his 04 banshee and welcomes me to come check it out.

 

Would you buy it? (assuming once i check everything is tight and it runs good?)

You know what bro, Pictures is one thing and riding it is a whole different other. When i bought my second shee i tried to find one as stock as possible and with the least mods as possible. If the few mods it does have suits for the type of riding your gonna do then shoot for it. You really have to check it out at the heart of the beast. Take a compression tester and test both cylinders (lots of post on how to do this). you have to test ride it to see if anything leaks makes any unusual noises and if it steers straight. Look for anything bent especially the frame. Judging the welded a-arm he must have been riding the shit out of it, but who knows. Make sure the shocks function as they should and that theres not too much bounce. The frame looks a bit rusty but that's something powder coat can fix. I like how it has the uncut plastics. If it runs good and has good compression i would go for it. The other shit is just cosmetic and as you said it's dirty. Just check the major components so you can avoid spending more money than you have to. I hope this makes sense. More people on here will eventually jump in on this here and give their opinion. Don't know if this is your first shee or not but welcome to HQ lot's of good people with good info, yet to mention check out the site sponsors on here. If it runs and rides good then i would buy it in a second. Its hard to find nice stock banshees in the 1500 range where im from.and the a arms and axle and tires would cost way over 500 more,so ya i think its a good deal

Thanks for your opinions. The seller has 2 raptors and 2 banshee's. He said his 04 banshee looks better but this one runs better. I found his original add on craigslist for $2800 and he is telling me $2000 is his bottom line. I think i will go check it out and as long as it rides good, everything is straight and its only cosmetics I will get it. It also comes with new a-arms for the front that are not installed yet. Only part that sucks is he's 3.5 hrs from me.
