A Clymer's manual is one of the best investments you can make, as a banshee owner. The manual, and a decent set of tools is a must.

I agree!! Splitting them isnt too difficult, but for putting them back together you will def need a manual which will list the tightening sequence and torque specs for all the case bolts. Clymer is the best engine manual Ive ever read, if you follow it step by step and look at the pictures everything is spelled out very nicely. Good luck, and if you run into any problems post 'em up.

Couldn't agree more on the Clymers. Just got done rebuilding my motor and the Clymers walked me thru step by step.

A manual will def. help. When I rebuilt mine, I just downloaded the manual off of dune review and bought a rebuild dvd off of a guy on here. The dvd really helped and the free downloaded manual helped when torque specifications were needed.

Get some zip locks bags so you can put the bolts into and label them. Like clutch side case. It will save you time and keep everything clean. This way you wont be hunting down nuts and bolts
