Driggs Posted January 1, 2010 Report Posted January 1, 2010 After rebuilding top and bottom end, I noticed my water pump cover is leaking. It's a brand new gasket that came in my kit for the rebuild. Have yet to even crank her up. Can I put some ThreeBond on the gasket to seal it up? Quote

A thin bead around the edge should work, but I'd suggest just ordering a new gasket. If you do decide to use threebond, make sure you let it set up really good before you put any coolant in the system. Quote
