04 black shee Posted December 29, 2009 Report Posted December 29, 2009 Alright so i just traded my cr85 for an 04 banshee. it has a 17 tooth front sproket and 40 tooth rear. when i hit power band it doesnt snap into it or even hardly pull that hard. it looks as tho antifreeze is getting into the right cylinder because the end of my pipe is getting wet. could this be the cause of my power loss and my power band not kicking right? it starts first kick and even idles perfect. it has an pro design cool head on it. is it time to change the o rings or what. im at a loss of knowledge on these. this is my first banshee. always wanted one now i got it. any advice? GNR101 Posted December 29, 2009 Report Posted December 29, 2009 using water? 17 front tooth is big.. if your stock with a cool head i would say the lack of snap is the 17 front sprocket ive only got a 15 tooth and that tames the snap a bit Quote
04 black shee Posted December 29, 2009 Author Report Posted December 29, 2009 are blowing white smoke out of your exhaust? yea only out of the right exhaust pipe tho Quote

04 black shee Posted December 29, 2009 Author Report Posted December 29, 2009 well going from a 17 to a 14.. you will notice the better response but youll have to change gears now thats fine with me lol as long as i have some good acceleration lol. my buddy has 660 raptor so i wanna be quicker than him. hes a 2 stroke hater for some reason. he just dont understand the power of the shees Quote
bonerific250 Posted December 29, 2009 Report Posted December 29, 2009 if it is white, i would do a leak down test, or just pull the head, double check coolant level see if it is low, and would also check the case oil to see if that is in normal range, I say that because sometimes the crank seal blows on the right side sucking in oil and burning it.
