How do I take springs off of Works shocks?

Picking up some triple rate works at steelers tomorrow. I want to take the springs off so I can clean up the main shock body and such. I know it can be done because I seen pictures of one with the springs off.

If you compress the springs or a spring the top collar will slide down and behind it is a clip. that clip sits in a notch to hold it all together. pop that out and the collar and springs will slide up.

 

I also have triple rates and love them.
