nigels_world Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 I just moved from high elevation in hot Arizona to sea level in cold Maine so I'm obviously going to be way lean. I have no idea where to start but am totally confident that I can tune it once I have a starting point. Like I said I'm at sea level (I live right on the ocean) and the temps have been 15-35 degrees f. Specs for the banshee are: ported jugs (I have no information about them) v force 3 reeds rz350 carbs fmf pipes k&n pods (no box) stock timing where do I start? Quote

nigels_world Posted December 26, 2009 Author Report Posted December 26, 2009 Shakar - I live in Franklin, right next to Ellsworth. How about you? I grew up here so the cold is familiar. Savage420 - that's always a good read. Quote
sleeper06 Posted December 26, 2009 Report Posted December 26, 2009 350 mains are safe as long as the port isnt too aggressive,27.5 pilots Quote
AKheathen Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 what was your jetting for az? i would guess you would be moving up 3-4 sizes on the mains and mabey 1 on the pilot, but the fuel at higher elevations and elevation change both will affect it also. i'm guessing it was about 3k in az? that would bring you up some and the fuel differences will bring you down some.... Actually I was at 4700 feet. I was at 310-25 on the jetting there. Quote
