According to Toomey the runners will help a little because they force the air straight in as where just pods cause the air to come in at all angles which according to them causes some of the fuel to be splashed around and possibly splashed out of the pod or something like that you might want to check it out. Toomey advertises this to promote their single filter intake

what size carbs were those pods for?

 

They are on my 35mm pwk's. Look for them in the for sale section soon or pm if u want them....they are used but in good shape and come with a set of Outerwears
