AKheathen Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 sounds like your slide is in wrong. when it is correct, it will drop down an inch Quote
scuba Posted December 17, 2009 Author Report Posted December 17, 2009 yea the slide is right i was told my carbs are messed up i just wanna go with stock ones but dont know what kind or website Quote
AKheathen Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 describe what you are talking about a little better? you remove the idle screw from the side of the carb and the cap screws on? or the cable adjuster from the middle of the cap? it really sounds just like the slide is in wrong....pics would really help right now Quote
J.J. Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 If I had to hazard a guess I'd say he's referring to the cap locking device that comes on stock carbs. Most people throw those away after while... Need pics for sure Quote

AKheathen Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 well, you see that culinder sticking out of the top? and notice how there is a dot on there, and how it is in line with that little window? and here is what it looks like when it is bottomed out correctly at idle Quote
