sheerider22 Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 i have big bore-dune ported cylinders, stock crank, 35mm airstrikers, 20 cc domes. i trail ride mostly and drag race sometime. what kind of exhaust would be best? also jetting? Quote
06specialedition Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 It's all personal on pipes.....I run CPI Inframes and those are more of a top end pipe. My brother runs Pro-Circuts and loves them, those are a great all around pipe from what I understand. -good luck! Quote
papa_smurf49319 Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 most people are going to tell you that pro circuits or another pipe are the best pipe for the woods. This may be true, but if your like me and trail ride and drag race the buddy alot and cant be last then shearers are the best pipe. The shearers are deffinetly a top end pipe, but if find trail riding it isnt to difficult to stay on the pipe however most the trails i ride on are wide open and you can run 3rd to 5th most of the time! AKheathen Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 i'm going to have to go with rockets on this one............while the pro-circuit may be good for what you do, you would be verrry lucky if it would work well on the dune port, and the carbs are too big anyways.......whatever you end up with will have to be a mid-high pipe or higher. remember, yolu can always drop some gearing if you need a little more bottom end, and pick up some timing, like using a dyna with a curve that advances only the mottom and mid. TwistedSheeRida Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 Keep the carbs and get a set of Rockets or Cpis. I wouldnt go lower than a 33mm carb anyways. Quote
AKheathen Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 wel, the 35's would be too big for any lowend trail pipe, but they should work ok on rickets or t-5's...... Quote
