The Juris Doctor Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 Hey everybody. I have a brand new, bone stock 2006 Banshee. I'm looking at a set of FMF Fatty head pipes and Powercore 2 silencers. When I used to ride about 10 years ago, some people had to shave some of the front fenders to get the Fattys to fit. Does anyone know if the Fattys still require this fender mod? From the looks of my fenders it should fit fine, but I wanted to make sure. Thanks!! Quote

I havent made any modifications to my fenders, so all brackets are still there. So hopefully they will fit. You can email me the pics if its easier. How much are you selling yours for? Quote
The Juris Doctor Posted December 7, 2009 Author Report Posted December 7, 2009 they should fit fine, put them on and see if they need a little trimming and welcome to the HQ. Thanks - glad to be here. I'm 29 and just now getting back into ATVs. I rode back in the 90s then had a 10 year dry spell. I bought my wife a 350 Raptor and that gave me the fever again. I was lucky enough to find a Banshee fresh out of the crate so I jumped all over it. Thanks again! Quote
FrankieSquid Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 When i first had my shee i bought it fresh with uncut fenders and the first mod i did was put the exact same pipes your talking about. You dont have to cut your fenders at all. they tuck in nicely. Quote
AKheathen Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 you can use washers to shim the pipe mounts if they are a little off.......that would be the only reason they should touch the fenders.... Quote
