cousinsracing Posted November 23, 2009 Report Posted November 23, 2009 hey guys I have a set of RIS headlights on my bike and they look really good but they dont work. i tore the plastics off and looked at them and the guy who put them on did a really crappy job...we just spliced them into the wiring harness by twisting the wires together and covering them with electrical tape. Is anyone familiar with these lights? I don't know how to wire them up and if they need a battery. id appreciate any help you guys can give. Quote
Snopczynski Posted November 23, 2009 Report Posted November 23, 2009 If they are standard halogen lights, then you just connect them up with no battery. Hid's, and some LED lights need dc current and a battery to run. Quote
cousinsracing Posted November 23, 2009 Author Report Posted November 23, 2009 is there a wiring diagram available anywhere. There is no switch on the bike so theoretically they would be on the whole time, but i have my doubts this guy even used the right wires lol Quote
Snopczynski Posted November 23, 2009 Report Posted November 23, 2009 if you use the search, there is a wiring diagram on the forum. Quote
