sheerider20
i went to coal hill yesterday an when i was climbing i'd get like half way up hills an it would start cutting out an shit like it had chewed up all the gas in the bowls should i put the needle clip up higher to get more fuel in the bowls or should i wait to get a mic to measure the float an see if that is at the right height or what do you think the problem is. plz help me figure this out. thank you in advance Edited November 8, 2009 by sheerider20
Rodneya
Check the filter in the petcock is clean and that the breather in the cap is not blocked. Either of those will screw with the fuel flow.
sheerider20
you mean the inline filter before the carbs? if so then that is clean an the breather is all clean an open
Rodneya
No, if you take the fuel petcock off the tank you will see that there is a filter in there. It gets blocked fairly easily. I would loose the inline filter as they often cause problems even if they look clean and flow well when you test them. Are you sure that you are jetted right.
