I'm tryin to get the stock axle out and the sprocket hub won't budge. Any tips? There isnt a clip or something I'm missing is there? Right now I sprayed PB Blaster and I'm lettin it sit for the night.

I've swapped axles in a few of my older quads usually no porblems but this dang sprocket hub will not move at all.

Any help appreciated -thanks.

After you take the nuts off it should slide off. If the pb blaster don't work, Try taking the carrier off, put a block on the ground stand the axle and carrier straight up and slam it down in the block it should break it loose.

Well after trying a few different ways, still no luck, this thing is on there.

I even took the carrier assembly off the swingarm put it in a press and no luck.

Took it to the local dealer where my friends work, no one there could get it off either.

What now? Any suggestions anyone?

heat up the hub real good, put the wheel hub nut on the endwith a socket on it. set it on the concrete, and beat the carrier down......it should pop off, or at least start moving........at least you know the splines aren't worn out.
