Jason Wayne Posted November 7, 2009 Report Posted November 7, 2009 I've got a stock banshee with the airbox snorkal removed, K&N filter and gold series fmf pipes. 280 jets, Needle clips on groove 3. Just as DynoJet explains. My problem is that everytime the bike goes into the powerband I get some backfire, hesitation, loss of power and then bamm, It kicks into the powerband and takes off yet still has some slight hesitation and power loss while at full throttle, but no where near as bad as when it tries to kick into the powerband. Runs great just crusin around and starts easy. Bigger Jets Needed? Suggestions? Jason Quote
AKheathen Posted November 7, 2009 Report Posted November 7, 2009 definately needs more fuel. you are doing damage running it like that. we need your elevation and temps, but i'd start with at least 310 jets. check for airleaks and clean our carbs out Quote
