crombie Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 i have taken my rear axle of to fit a twin bearing carrier and notised there is some back and forward play on the splines for the disc and sprovket hub. is this normal or is it a bit worn. i was hoping it would tighten up when i refit the axle and tighten the hub nuts Quote
AKheathen Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 mine went from a bit of play to really freakin worn out pretty quick, like 6 hurs of trail riddin. check out the axle splines vs the hub splines. if the axle is still good, i would replace the hub to save the axle.....a tiny bit of play is ok, though Quote
