cobramustang Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 (edited) I have a 95 Banshee that used to run like champ, but has set for the majority of the past 2 years but ran excellent when I parked it. The last time I rode it about a year ago it wasnt running right and and spitting gas out the tailpipe. We found pin missing out of wall of carburator that holds throttle valve slide in position. I had to replace carb since pin was missing and could not buy replacement. Put another pair of carbs on my Banshee and wouldnt start without ether. When it would start it would not idle and pipes were cold on one side. Adjusted carbs and still wolud not run. Replaced carbs with another set and same problem still. Will not start unless you pour gas in cylinder first and will only run if you keep giving gas. Took off top end, piston good, copmpression good, adjusted carbs several times, both sides firing but still wont start without pouring gas in cylinder. Thought it may be electrical since it has been setting for so long? Edited October 24, 2009 by cobramustang Quote
BlasterKX Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 you got the rubber line on the carbs for the choke? have you got them synced? are you running old gas? old plugs? are the jets the same mains and pilots and needles? and is the tors eliminated? Quote

New plugs, same main and pilot jets, same needle and were synced. I just have the tors unplugged, but its always ran good like that before Quote
