First Upgrade?

look into Clarke desert tanks. and if you are running high speed desert then i would looking to some 6 ply tires. no good getting all the power if you have sliced up tires.

 

Definitely... I originally bought some carlisle turf tamers (which hooked up great) but they were only 3-plys... got like 5 flats over the course of 3 days - since then i've spent the extra money and made sure to get a decent set of 6-plys.

 

And thanks again for all the input from everyone, I'm researching the cool domes and timing plate - however, the day after starting this thread I found out the hard way that I have a blown head gasket on my explorer, so now I have to figure out how to cough up 1800 bucks before I can mess with any banshee mods.

like invader said clarke tanks are the way to go, of course when you have the money avail. Heres a pic of mine with the clarke tank

Yeah, the clarke tank looks pretty good actually.... and that's a 5 1/2 gallon tank like the IMS one right? (nevermind, looked it up and yes it is)

 

-I think once I can get some cash scraped up that'll probably be my first upgrade, I ride with 4-stroker bikes (with desert tanks LOL) so as it is right now i'm on reserve well before they hit half empty.

 

Now that i know you can put on a cool head and not lose much reliability, I really, really want the extra power too though.
