rinaldobailey Posted November 27, 2010 Report Share Posted November 27, 2010 hey i have a question if im running 25 pilots and 270 mains stock pipes no filter lid at sea level and between 68F-80F (live in toronto ontario canada)and the temperature is gonna drop to 15F-25F the coldest would be -10F, what should i do with my pilot jet 27.5?and main jet 290 300? and what is 1 size up from 270 275? AKheathen Posted December 9, 2010 Author Report Share Posted December 9, 2010 well, you already sound rich for stock pipes, but i wouldn't think you need bigger than 27.5 pilot. just, adjust the airscrews so it runs good when it's at operating temp. if it wants less than 1/2 turn, go bigger, and if it wants more then 2.5 turns from seated, go smaller..... try 280 mains. they go in increments of 10...... if you can, do aplug chop at 15f, and make sure it's good, and not lean...mabey a tad rich is good. that should be good for -10......
