choke

Ok guys, i am new to the banshee esp the twin carb. When i finished the assembly. It started on the second kick ( on complete rebuild )The weather here in texas has been a little cool. and damp the last few days.

Shee has been very hard to start.... ( choke knob will not stay out ) anyway if i spray just a little either with top end lube on the K&N,s it will fire right up. Then after that it will start all day long on the first kick. It is just the initial start up after it has been sitting and cold. Is this a fuel/carb issue or

maybe choke issue.

hey old roost! If the knob wont stay out then the choke isn't being applied. try starting when you hold the knob out

manually and see if it fires up. Jeff

I have the same problem with my choke knob. I've removed it, cleaned and still will only stay at the first setting, not all the way out.

i had a similar prob like that and im in texas also.the wether changed about ten to fifthteen degrees and i noticed banshee was harder to start.i screwed the air screws in a half turn and it seemed to help.i believe that by turning the air screw in it richens it up a little.
