2004LEBanshee Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 Currently I have a 4 mill dune port from jeff. I have pwk35's, noss head cut domes, CPI's, V force reeds, and some other stuff. My question is what would I have to do to swith to a 10 mill. I know I need a 10 mill crank and my cases trenched. But would there be anything else? Will my cylinders still fit up as ported? Would it even be worth it? Just curious. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 I want to say that you can only go to a 7mil on stock jugs, but I could be wrong. Depending on what kind of porting was done, your jugs may not fit anything besides what your currently running due to port timing issues. What are you wanting to build? A drag bike or what? If your just wanting a play bike, a 10mil might be a little more than you are barganing for. Quote
rubberneck Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 in order to do a 10mil on stock cylinders they need to be resleeved with longer sleeves i beleive. My buddy has an 8 mil and i know they are resleeved. If you are looking for that big of a motor my advice is CUB or cheetah. The really big stock cylinders are going to cost you more than a PV cheetah set up. At least that was my buddys experience. Quote
2004LEBanshee Posted October 3, 2009 Author Report Posted October 3, 2009 I was just curious really. Thanks for the info. Quote
