Ironman Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Hey guys I have a bone stock 2002 banshee. It had been running real good about 6 weeks ago, always starting on the first kick, hot, cold, did not matter. Now it seems like it is flooding out all the time. Lots of kicking and sometimes does not start at all. It is backfiring some while I kick it also. Sometimes I can move thumb throttle about 1/4 forward and it will start. Sometimes when I get it started and after warm up I will rev it a little and it bogs down, but sometimes no problem. Plugs do not looks bad when we take them out. When we do get it running and ride it, it runs very strong, as good as it did 6 weeks ago, which is puzzling. Then we turn it off and it will start back up on the first kick for a while but if it sets a couple hours it is back to not starting. Thanks in advance for any ideas of what to try. Quote

Try cleaning out the carbs real good... when you take them apart.. With a small flat head screwdriver unscrew all the small jets inside the carbs and spary then out with some carb cleaner real good ..should get rid if any gunk that's clogged up in there.. Quote
