99bansheeboy Posted September 27, 2009 Report Posted September 27, 2009 ok so how much should there be in there? like 1.5 litres right and what if i only had like a 1L of rad fluid then i just filled the rest up with water ..is that ok? Quote
bluenblackbanshee Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 (edited) As long as it's not a premix antifreeze you should be ok for a little while, because it lowers the boiling point of the antifreeze with having more water in it. I would recommend changing it before the winter if it gets cold where u live Edited September 28, 2009 by bluenblackbanshee Quote

Larry's Shee Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 He's refering to the freezing point. Just like a car, if it gets -20 you have to be protected. Quote
racer Posted October 4, 2009 Report Posted October 4, 2009 Tap water will cause mineral deposits in areas of your cooling system, bad idea. Use distilled if you must use water. Quote
