dunner250 Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 I have a 99 banshee. I have a fuel issue somewhere. To start form the beginning my first problem was no spark. I unplugged the tors box form the wiring harness and got spark. Then the next problem was no fuel. I pulled the carbs and cleaned them, put them back in and no luck. I can turn the screw that drains the bowls and fuel comes out. So I know I have fuel to there. When I put a little gas down the carb it would run until for 5 or 10 seconds until it was out of gas. I have fmf pipes, 240 main jet, and k and n filters on the carbs no air box. Thanks Quote
Idontknowwhy Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 carbs synced? You're lean on the main too for sure Quote

GNR101 Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 I'm go pick up some larger jets. How do I synced the carbs? look it up on youtube. theres heaps of vids on it i have been doing it a dodge way.(i dont have the tool) just looking at both of the slides at once from the rear of the carbs (filter off) ajusting the slides so they both lift together. (ajustment from the cable on the top of the carb) and make sure they max out together (open) and ajust the idles the same. so the slides are sitting the same at idle i might have confused you... but hopefully that helps Quote
fastbanshee8 Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 You can synch the carbs even better, if you have a carb synch tool from FAST. Here's the link, http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=59 I've got one, and it works great. Well worth the money. Quote
