Loc Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 I purchased a used set of AC pro nerf bars. I kinda feel like an idiot but I cant figure out how they mount up. The bolt holes dont seem to line up with the frame. Here is a picture of the nerfs and the mounts. Any help or pictures would be nice. Quote
bbcmudtruck Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 The black pieces bolt onto the frame where your pegs did. Then you slide the nergs over them. If this picture doesn't help, let me know and I will take a few more for ya. Quote
SAVAGE420 Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 (edited) I have the exact same ones on my bike. What do you mean they dont line up? On the front, take your pipes off. Then screw the bolts from the inside the put the nut on the outside. TRUST ME, this will help you tons when you have to take them off then on again. Only have to take the pipes off once, but thats easy as hell anyways. Just PM me if you cant figure it out and ill show you pics of mine mounted if you cant do it. *Edit*, dumb ass just showed you a pic above. Haha ryan Edited September 23, 2009 by savage420 Quote
DallasGDub Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 For the front mount, you have to take out the upper motor mount bolt, and get a longer bolt. Then screw the longer bolt thru the frame and out the other side. Bolt up the pegs witha lock nut. They sell'em at Home Depot. The funny shape foot peg in the right of your pic will be your brake side peg. Quote
